3。5/4。 Not as good as the first one, but this is still a great read。 I’m looking forward to reading the 3rd book。 My favorite thing about this series is how it flips from traditional fiction writing to interviews/images/messages/emails/etc。

4。5 stars rounded up I don’t know what it is about this series but it’s SO addictive! There were NO boring parts to this book and I literally wizzed through it。 I just love Pip and Ravi and I love how Holly Jackson makes it feel as if you’re trying to solve the mystery alongside them。 The reveal didn’t shock me as much as the twist in the first book - but that didn’t even take away from my enjoyment really! At the beginning this was on its way to being a two star for me。 Pip was annoying although that could just be me getting more and more uninterested in YA (contemporary especially)。 The mystery picked up and I thought it was intriguing enough to be enjoyable (like the first book)。 The end was weird but not the worst。 Overall, mediocre。 I will finish the series but it’s not a favorite of mine by any means。 Also, pip continues to make bad decisions regarding her personal safety, like very bad ones。

The sequel to AGGGTM isn't as good as I expected。It's still a good book and I've enjoyed it, but I think something was missing。I would have definitely preferred, and found more coherent, if we had known prior about that podcast and that serial killer and his son。 It would have made the revelation of Stanley Forbes's true identity less out of the blue。 I had a difficult time relating with Pip, or anyway understanding her motivations。 The sequel to AGGGTM isn't as good as I expected。It's still a good book and I've enjoyed it, but I think something was missing。I would have definitely preferred, and found more coherent, if we had known prior about that podcast and that serial killer and his son。 It would have made the revelation of Stanley Forbes's true identity less out of the blue。 I had a difficult time relating with Pip, or anyway understanding her motivations。 。。。more

Right at the beginning, it was so much fun to see how Pip's methods had evolved after her first case。 I found myself still in love with all the characters and the writing and the structure which obviously made for a great start into the book。Before this book, my record (after getting back into reading) of how many pages I read in one day was 92。 [Side note: I set that 92-pages-record up on an extremely good reading day and 95% of my days I didn't even get close to it。] This time around, it only Right at the beginning, it was so much fun to see how Pip's methods had evolved after her first case。 I found myself still in love with all the characters and the writing and the structure which obviously made for a great start into the book。Before this book, my record (after getting back into reading) of how many pages I read in one day was 92。 [Side note: I set that 92-pages-record up on an extremely good reading day and 95% of my days I didn't even get close to it。] This time around, it only took 44 pages and then the next day I picked this book up, it made me break said record because I simply sucked in 101 pages in one sitting。 Just like that。 Because I couldn't put it down。 And guess what? I broke that record again right the next day, by reading 108 pages in one sitting。 And it gets even better。 The next day I started on page 254 and in the afternoon, I suddenly turned the book's last page。 Accidentally read 160 pages in one sitting。 Which blows my own mind because I'm usually a rather slow reader。 That alone should show you how captivating Good Girl, Bad Blood is。 This book, I just inhaled it, holy macaroni。The book, like the first one, had me gasping and chuckling and tearing up and mumbling "no no no"。 I was making up theories and getting excited about them and whether they would be true or not。 All the tension whether they would make it in time or not。 Good Girl, Bad Blood had me in its grip。 What a rollercoaster of emotions。I loved how the Podcast was incorporated into the story and how this whole internet presence affected Pip and her surroundings。Though I don't approve of all the things Pip did in this book, I like that we saw more of her flaws, more raw emotions of her and her accepting those。 Obviously, I also don't like that Pip was traumatized during the events of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and went through additional trauma due to her second case。 But it makes sad sense and therefore I like that Jackson chose to include Pip's symptoms and trauma responses in her writing。 I liked how she put it into words, the way Pip's mind now works, the way her thinking changed after she's been this deeply traumatized。All in all, it was another very cleverly written book by Holly Jackson, extremely enjoyable and definitely a big recommendation from my side。Greetings, M :) 。。。more

Was this book as good as the first, like everyone made it seem? No。 This book took some time for me to get into, approximately 170 pages。 Even when it got good, it wasn’t great。 The final ~60 pages had a lot, and even weighed pretty heavy。 Jamie is just a twenty something who doesn’t know what he’s doing with his life, and could honestly benefit from a wellness retreat or mental hospital。 Overall, I found this book to be ~meh~, maybe because there weren’t as many clues and the whole time they we Was this book as good as the first, like everyone made it seem? For a sequel, this book was really good! I almost read the whole book in one sitting。 Very engaging plot and the characters are all very lovable。 Also, I need Pip and Ravi to have their own book。 They’re so cute!!!
